Little Dot Studios

Motion Graphics, Compositing, and Animation
Role Overview

Within the entertainment department, I created and lead titles and graphical elements for content across Youtube and social media. Using a combination of After Effects and Cinema 4D and creating most assets from scratch, I had to match specific branding to different shows the company handled, such as titles for Amazon Prime and Netflix. I also helped other departments with graphical elements and branding, such as leading the rebranding of the Grand Tour youtube channel or endscreens for Paramount and Amazon’s biggest shows.
My Contributions

Working closely with the content editors, I helped pick specific shots for where to place the title’s. This ensured that the content we were creating looked like it came straight from the show or movie, ensuring alignment with the branding.
Titles
I worked closely with content editors to create dynamic titles to match branding of TV shows and Movies using a combination of After Effects and Cinema 4D. I assisted with finding clips from a library of TV shows and movies and helped direct the editors in what shot would work best. A lot of the content had to be created in house, with rare exceptions where fonts and artwork assets were provided.
Graphical Elements (Thumbnails and Endscreens)
Bringing my Graphic design experience, I worked across a lot of graphical elements for the video content created by the content editors. I provided feedback and guidance to the editors to help improve the impact of the thumbnails by sharing knowledge of common design practices. Beyond that I also created content for brands on Youtube such as endscreens for Amazon Prime and lead the rebranding of the design of The Grand Tour's youtube page (Currently at 1.43 million subscribers).
